The arrangement
A short note
A study in cool metallics and bright accents. Chalky blue Senecio fingers fan out beside a slender silver-spined cactus column, with red-tipped jelly bean sedum trailing over the rim of the basin.
All three are full-sun lovers tolerant of long dry spells — the same monthly watering rhythm suits each. The succulents soften the cactus's vertical line and link it to the warm copper vessel.
Care
Full direct sun. Water roughly once a month, dry in winter.
Styling
A polished hammered-copper basin warms the cool blues and silvers. Top-dress with pale gravel to lift the planting and protect the metal from soil staining.
