A short note

A small monument to the high desert: a juvenile Saguaro stands sentinel between a smooth grey Bishop's Cap and a luminous Golden Barrel. The carved stone reads as a fragment of cliff.

All three are slow, deliberate growers that share a love of fierce light and lean soil. Place the Saguaro centrally — it will determine the bowl's lifespan, and may outlive its owner.

Care

Brightest possible sun. Water once a fortnight in summer, dry in winter. Coarse mineral mix only.

Styling

Pale carved sandstone picks up the gold spines of the barrel and recedes behind the deep green of the Saguaro. Finish with a thin layer of pumice.
