The arrangement
A short note
Inspired by Italian terrace gardens, this composition pairs a dramatic blue Agave with a stout Jade and a cascading Burro's Tail. The result is a small monument to drought-tolerant beauty.
All three are sun-worshippers from arid climates. Agave provides vertical drama, Jade fills the middle, and Burro's Tail spills over the edge — covering the urn's foot with green tears.
Care
Full sun. Water deeply but rarely. Bring indoors below 5°C.
Styling
A tall fluted urn elevates the planting to eye level. Pale, weathered terracotta picks up the powder-blue tones of the Agave and warms the green of the Jade.
